Diana Haro is an artist from the borderlands.

Her main roles are as a Film Director, Writer and Producer.
Awarded a grant from the Mexican Institute of Cinema her latest film is in Post Production.

Born and raised in Tijuana, México.

Grew up navigating and experiencing life by the border between San Diego and Tijuana, finds herself to be comfortable in multicultural sets.

Speaks: spanish, english, italian and basic french.


Working between Tijuana and Mexico City.

Her on set experience includes working directly with with Producer Pablo Cruz (Canana),
Director Fernando Frías de la Parra (I’m No Longer Here),
Executive Producer and Director Joe Lazarov (Gossip Girl-Coyote)
and Alonso Álvarez Barreda (Snowfall and The Wingwalker).

Her project Portrait of Absence was awarded a grant
by the Mexican Institute of Cinema to go into Production.

She is currently developing three other projects while the former is in post production.

Why multidisciplinary?

I find that being true to myself is the only thing that, no matter what, has led me to feel successful. I believe that different aspects of me answer to different mediums. And in them my creative soul finds peace
